Article 2 — What data do we collect?
Klets & Klei processes the following personal data:
- Name and email address (when booking via email or the contact form on the website)
- Phone number (if provided)
- Payment details (via payment service, e.g. invoice or iDEAL — Klets & Klei does not store complete payment details itself)
- Correspondence via email or social media
Klets & Klei does not process special categories of personal data (such as health data or citizen service numbers).
Article 3 — How do we use your data?

Article 4 — Sharing data with third parties
Klets & Klei never sells your data to third parties. Data may be shared with:
- A payment service provider (e.g. iDEAL provider or bank) for processing payments
- An accountant, for tax administration
- A web hosting provider, for the technical operation of the website
Data processing agreements are concluded (where required) with parties that process data on behalf of Klets & Klei.
Article 5 — Your rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR:
- Right of access: you can request what data we process about you
- Right of rectification: you can have incorrect data corrected
- Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’)
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Right to withdraw consent (if processing is based on consent)
You can submit a request via info@kletsenklei.nl. Klets & Klei will respond within 4 weeks. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Article 6 — Security
Klets & Klei takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Specifically:
- Use of secure email and password management
- Customer data is not shared via unsecured channels
- Paper documents containing personal data are destroyed after the retention period
Article 7 — Cookies and website
If the Klets & Klei website uses cookies (e.g. via Google Analytics or a booking system), this will be stated in a separate cookie policy on the website. Visitors will be asked for consent on their first visit.
Klets & Klei does not use third-party advertising cookies.
Article 8 — Changes
Klets & Klei reserves the right to amend this privacy policy. The most current version is always available on the website. Significant changes will be communicated by email to active customers.
