Want to paint your own ceramics? Wonderful! During our workshops you work at your own pace on your own piece, after a short group introduction, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. No need to bring anything — everything you need is provided. We take care of the ceramics, paint, tools and guidance. You bring your creativity. Klets & Klei organises workshops at a number of fixed, cosy venues in the Eindhoven area. How does a workshop work?
Found a date that suits you? Great! To build up the excitement, it’s fun to look for some ideas and colour combinations in advance. Pinterest has endless possibilities — and on our site you’ll find plenty of inspiration and techniques too.
On the day of the workshop, we welcome you at the venue. You choose one ceramic piece from a selection of cups, mugs, plates and bowls. The workshop lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
After a short group explanation on glazing and the different techniques, you get started. You have a wide range of colours to choose from. The paint is non-toxic, food-safe and dishwasher-safe after firing. The colours look pastel after application — they only come into their full glory after glazing and firing. Have questions during the workshop about colours, techniques or patterns? We’re always happy to help and think along with you. After the workshop we let your creation dry and fire it in the ceramic kiln. After approximately 2 to 3 weeks your masterpiece is ready. You’ll receive an email as soon as it’s waiting for you — and can then collect it at the location we’ll arrange together.
Costs
The price varies per venue and is around €49 per person. The exact price can be found with the relevant date in the schedule. Always included: one ceramic piece of your choice, paint, tools and guidance. What else is included — such as drinks — varies per venue and is listed in the venue details. Would you like to paint an additional piece during the workshop? That’s possible — extra ceramic pieces are available for purchase on the day.
How do you book a spot?
Send a message via the contact form or directly to info@kletsenklei.nl. Include the date and number of people — we’ll confirm as quickly as possible whether there’s still space available. Your booking is final once the participation fee has been received.
With a group
Klets & Klei is perfect for a fun outing with a group. Think of a friends’ day, a team outing, a birthday or simply a creative afternoon with people you care about.
For groups of eight or more we’re happy to arrange a separate session at a venue of your choice — get in touch so we can work something out together.

Getting married soon — or do you know someone who is? A ceramic painting workshop is an original and relaxed alternative to the standard hen night. Everyone goes home with a handmade keepsake, and the bride with an unforgettable memory.

Children’s Birthday Party
Cake, decorations and painting your own ceramic — now that’s a party! Klets & Klei comes to you for a creative birthday experience that the birthday child and all the guests will remember long after the last piece of cake is gone. We guide the children step by step, so even the youngest guests can dive straight in. No experience needed!
We bring everything along: ceramics, paint, brushes and guidance. You just take care of the fun and the snacks.
All paints are non-toxic and food-safe, so there’s nothing to worry about. After the party, we take all the painted pieces with us to fire in the kiln. After around 2 to 3 weeks, they’re ready to be returned or picked up at a location we agree on together.
